Basic Computer Aided Drafting (LBYME1B)

TARGET AUDIENCE: Students, Academics, Industry Professionals, Employers, and Tech Enthusiasts

OVERVIEW: I took this class as a freshman in my second term. It’s an introductory course for computer-aided-design but primarily on QCAD to create basic GD&T execution of basic drafts similar to a previous course. Know more about the syllabus in this link.

LEARNINGS and EXPERIENCE: Honest opinion? This course was a blur. I was expecting that I can utilize AutoCAD or Solidweorks but I was only able to use QCAD for minute tasks and I believe QCAD is not well-received in job openings as this is an outdated CAD software like that of CATIA that is still being taught in university. For those reading, proceed with this caution. ⚠️ I only realized this after a while.

Nonetheless, I was at least able to absorb the platform and intended workflow for defining basic features on a CAD drawing and was able to apply this into the future when I was dealing with Fusion360 platform~~. Below is a consolidation of my works.
