π₯ Schneider Go Green 2022 is a global student competition that challenges young innovators to design disruptive ideas tackling critical social and environmental issues β including rising energy consumption, sustainability, and urban challenges.
Iβm proud to have been a Country Finalist, receiving seed funding to kickstart our startup idea, and went on to represent the Philippines at the competitionβs regional stage! π΅ππ
Again this is a continuous endeavor from me to kickstart the idea of a smart compact food waste digester for homeowners and restaurants!!
πΏ Our Innovation: Compact Food Waste Digester
We developed a personalized anaerobic digester system optimized for homeowners and restaurants, targeting sustainable energy production and food waste management.
π§ My Role and Contributions:
- Designed the methodology for proof-of-concept and presented technical findings to the judging panel π
- Outlined detailed product specifications to make the digester functional and scalable for everyday users π§
- Created a 3D animation to visualize material flow and simulate preliminary user interactions with the system π₯β¨
This opportunity further deepened my passion for sustainable engineering and gave me a platform to scale technical ideas into real-world solutions. Big thanks to Schneider Electric for the platform and mentorship! π
